It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the PC or Server awake for remote access over IP._x000D_ _x000D_ Problems can occur when using various AV devices such as KVM Switches, Splitters & Extenders amongst others. These devices are often unable to pass the EDID information back to the source device. This emulator allows the user to clone the EDID information from a display which can be provided to the source prior to the installation of any intermediary devices._x000D_ _x000D_ This Emulator also includes pre-set EDID data which includes the most commonly used DVI resolutions and refresh rate combinations, which allows for simple installation as it can be used with many displays quickly without the need to clone EDID information._x000D_ _x000D_ |
