The separation switch enables very thick and thin documents, plastic cards and crumpled paper to smoothly feed through with ease. Simple and intuitive Set up a dedicated user interface with one-touch scanning and the ability to add up to 56 shortcuts to frequently used destinations. You can also use an optional external cardreader to make the scanning process even easier. Just tap the card and add your documents into the ADF to automatically and securely capture the information on the page. Advanced connectivity With 5GHz wireless connectivity, network, USB3.0 and USB host, you can securely scan documents and share with colleagues. Advanced image capture and processing Effortless and impressive image capture and processing - from easily referencing and locating scanned pages with the digital imprinter, to optimising image quality through the automatic vertical streaks and moiré reduction tools. The document separation functionality also automatically detects and removes any scanned blank pages, thus reducing file sizes and document preparation time. Brother ScanEssentials Our ScanEssentials software provides you with additional features which you can tailor to your business. For added security, you can set up passwords and protect your workflows, with the option to save your documents in a variety of formats. The metadata function can also read barcodes or specific strings of text to easily facilitate the separation and file naming of documents.
